Vertical Limit
An army outpost in the most highest battleground in the world. A bunker all painted white from outside, camouflaged probably so the disguise may work and keep the enemy at bay, than you see a white american sitting next to a soldier packing his stuff to get his quota to be prepared probably to be dropped off at the mountaineers base camp. What a life it must be for a mountaineer to climb the snow capped mountain. Every step must come with its value both mentally and physically.
I thought if they are using the Karakoram ranges and the names of the peaks, it must have been shot in the mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan. I am sure The Tournament Of Shadows was shot in the Valley known as HUNZA but it never got the licence due to its nature of reality being filmed about the British Raj all the way back to the unlawful British occupation in the Sub-Continent. Allow me to get back to the logical target of this journey so yeah Vertical Limit was surprisingly never shot in the Karakoram Range nor the Himalayas or even the Hindukush. K2 or Mount Godwin Austin crowns the second largest peak in the list. Unfortunately their target was to make a fool out of us and do the movie in New Zealand, the locations where the movie was shot at are
